At the core of our business is manufacturing, where we uphold our promise to customers by producing the UK's premier bricks. We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Operative to join our dedicated team.

What will you be doing?
You will collaborate with fellow operatives to produce top-notch concrete products utilizing various operational techniques. Your responsibilities will include executing production tasks with powered hand tools, machinery, and mechanical handling equipment. A strong focus on safety, quality, waste management, and operational efficiency is essential in this role.

Working Schedule:
42 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a Saturday shift every four weeks.

Shift patterns include: 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm, with overtime available (2-week shift rotation) and an additional 2 hours each week to accommodate the Saturday shift.

Key Skills Required:

  • Experience in a small to medium manufacturing environment
  • Forklift Truck (FLT) experience is desirable but not mandatory
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Proficient in English
  • A proactive approach to process improvement
