Production Operative Role

Marshalls, a leading supplier of high-quality bricks, is seeking a skilled Production Operative to join their team. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing concrete products using various operational techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate powered hand tools, machinery, and mechanical handling equipment to complete production tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of production operatives to achieve high-quality products.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

  • Meet or exceed production targets and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) goals.

Working Conditions:

As a Production Operative, you will work a standard 42-hour week, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays. Shift patterns include 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, with overtime available. You will also be required to work one Saturday every four weeks, with two hours carried over each week.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a small/medium manufacturing operation.
  • Desirable: FLT (Forklift Truck) operation skills.
  • Strong team player with a good working attitude.
  • Good level of English language proficiency.
  • A forward-thinking individual with a focus on process improvement.
