Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate teacher to join our team in Fife. As a teacher, you will be responsible for leading learning within your classroom context, promoting inclusion, diversity, and equality, and communicating with other stakeholders. Your role will be to contribute to wider improvements across the school community.
Qualification, Registration, and Skill Requirements
You must have high levels of interpersonal skills and abilities to work effectively as a member of a team. You should also be committed to your own professional learning as a practitioner and be able to demonstrate how this has impacted on your practice.
You will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
You must be fully registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) in Primary or Secondary, depending on the sector.
Full registration is required for all permanent posts, and provisional GTCS registration in the relevant sector will be considered for temporary class teacher posts.
Candidates holding GTCS registration in Further Education must also hold Primary or Secondary registration to meet the essential criteria as determined by Fife Council.
