About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available within Fife Council’s Valuation Services, where you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of property surveys and valuations throughout Fife.

As a Valuations Specialist, you will be responsible for the allocation, coordination, and training of technical staff undertaking property surveys and valuations. This includes taking a lead role in the survey and valuation of properties with more specialist requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently allocate and coordinate work among technical staff to ensure timely completion of property surveys and valuations.
  • Lead on the survey and valuation of complex or specialist properties, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain expertise in property valuation and surveying practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a full professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and have a degree or equivalent education at SCQF level 9.

You will also be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme prior to confirmation of appointment.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately £45,000-£55,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
