Job Role Summary



We are a multidisciplinary team providing therapeutic input to prisoners at HMP Norwich. Our team consists of a clinical lead psychologist, a psychotherapist, a senior occupational therapist, an assistant psychologist, an assistant practitioner, and two senior mental health nurses. We work together to provide therapeutic approaches in DBT and CBT, as well as an established trauma pathway that includes trauma-sensitive yoga.



Main Duties of the Job



As an assistant practitioner, you will be expected to participate in running groups with various disciplines, conduct joint assessments with staff, assist in writing formulations and discharge reports, contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, and take responsibility for your own work. You may also be involved in working one-to-one with prisoners to deliver interventions under supervision.
