About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Assistant Practitioner to join our team at Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust. As an Assistant Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic support to prisoners at HMP Norwich, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver interventions and promote positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with running groups with a range of disciplines, including DBT and CBT
  • Carry out joint assessments with staff and contribute to MDT discussions
  • Assist with writing formulations and discharge reports
  • Work 1:1 with prisoners in delivering interventions under supervision
  • Attend and contribute to ongoing referral meetings and discussions
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision to access support and continue developing expertise
