About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with mental health needs, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based interventions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Work effectively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, including medication management, therapy, and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, sharing best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Mental Health Hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • NMC Professional Registration and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
