About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Thainstone House, Inverurie. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and plating a range of dishes while supervising junior staff to ensure high standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate dishes to a high standard
- Supervise junior staff to ensure standards are maintained
- Manage day-to-day needs in a busy environment, including shift briefings, stock control and monitoring costs and wastage
- Work with senior chefs to ensure legal compliance
Requirements
- Intermediate Food Hygiene level qualification (REHIS or similar)
- Understanding of HACCP and City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English
