Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aftermarket Winch Products Team Leader to join our team at NOV Inc.

About the Role:

  • As a key member of our Aftermarket team, you will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the repair of our winch products, ensuring that all work is completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating our workshop processes, procedures, and work instructions to ensure that they are aligned with industry best practices.
  • Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers and stakeholders, providing technical support and guidance as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our project planners to define and manage the current and future workload within the department.
  • Act as a liaison for equipment service and repair jobs, ensuring that all necessary information is communicated to the relevant parties.
  • Provide technical support to our clients, including troubleshooting and repair of our winch products.
  • Maintain accurate records of service stock levels and raise purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Support and mentor our team of aftermarket winch technicians, providing guidance and training as required.
  • Participate in weekly meetings and contribute actively to the identification and implementation of key initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Maintenance of a professional and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles and lean methodologies.
  • Contribution to the induction training of new staff members.
  • Support for key initiatives, including on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and cost of quality.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 National 5 passes or equivalent (essential).
  • HNC in an engineering-related subject (desirable).

Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical and hydraulic equipment (essential).
  • Working knowledge of the full project lifecycle, with a detailed understanding of product, production planning, and business requirements (essential).

Skills and Training:

  • Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook (essential).
  • ERP knowledge, including Oracle/Omega (advantageous, with training provided).
