Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Master Welder and Fabricator to join our team at our Kintore facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding high-quality components using advanced equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Quality Assurance: Ensure excellence in assembly and welding of component parts, adhering to contract specifications and maintaining a high standard of quality.
  2. Equipment Proficiency: Operate all welding equipment in the fabrication shop efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal productivity.
  3. Production Efficiency: Adhere to the weekly production schedule, identifying and addressing any key areas that may hinder achieving daily targets, and prioritize tasks to ensure continuous workflow between disciplines.
  4. Drawing Interpretation: Interpret weld procedures, engineering drawings, sketches, materials, and electronic images to identify efficient and cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Time-served apprenticeship in fabrication and welding (essential).
  • NC in a relevant field (desirable).
  • Experience working in a fabrication workshop (essential).
  • Coded to 3G welding standard (desirable).
