Welder Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at NOV Inc in Kintore, Aberdeenshire. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes and materials to fulfill delivery of high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strive for excellence in the assembly and welding of component parts.
• Be proficient in using all welding equipment in the Fabrication Shop.
• Adhere to the weekly production schedule, identifying and addressing any key areas that may hinder achieving daily targets.
• Interpret weld procedures, engineering drawings, sketches, materials, and electronic images to identify the most efficient and cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

The ideal candidate will have a time-served apprenticeship in fabrication and welding and experience working in a fabrication workshop. Coded to 3G welding standard is desirable. We also require the ability to operate basic hand tools and proficiency in using overhead cranes and forklifts.
