About the RoleWe are looking for a talented and ambitious professional to drive the acquisition of new commercial partners and sponsors for Motorsport UK. As Head of Commercial Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy to deliver revenue growth and increase the organisation's visibility and influence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a commercial partnerships strategy to drive revenue growth and increase the organisation's visibility and influence.
- Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities, including partnerships with brands, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain existing commercial relationships, ensuring timely delivery of rights and continuity of business.
- Line manage a Commercial Assistant, setting targets and direction for work streams.
- Support commercial tenders for product or service opportunities related to Motorsport UK-owned and operated championships.
- Provide commercial and partnership-based insight to internal projects and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Monitor and report on commercial funnels and partnership results.
- Manage commercial partnership budgets.
- Represent Motorsport UK at networking events and industry organisations as required.
- A passion for motorsport and a deep understanding of the industry.
- Proven track record of securing significant third-party commercial partner revenue for sports propositions.
- Experience in developing new products, services, commercial portfolios, and partnerships, with a focus on delivering sustained business growth.
- Strong commercial and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
- Highly conversant in Microsoft Office products and able to generate meaningful insight to develop business cases.
- A flexible and responsive attitude, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
