About the Role

This is a senior leadership position within Invictus Group, where you will oversee a defined building services account, driving financial and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide strategic direction and ensure contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
  2. Identify and exploit opportunities for contract growth, delivering increased turnover and profitability.
  3. Evaluate and implement business policies and processes to enhance efficiency across the contract.
  4. Maintain a safe working environment by effectively implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop the business, foster effective teamworking, and support colleagues.
  6. Support Technical Service Managers in developing contract financial plans, focusing on revenue, profit delivery, cost reduction, and contract growth.
  7. Promote customer focus throughout operational activities and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts.
  8. Embody and promote the core values of Invictus Group.
  9. Offer guidance, advice, coaching, and direct support to teams to deliver best practices in selection, training, assessment, recognition, and reward.
  10. Communicate effectively through management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, reporting, and publications.
  11. Sustain the sales process through solutions development, presentations, consultations, hosting visits, and mobilization as required on new contracts.
  12. Create a learning environment and provide training and development planning to support team members' competence and future potential.

Accountabilities

  1. Report to the Area General Manager.
  2. Be accountable to functional heads as necessary.
  3. Accountable daily to relevant client contacts.
  4. Hold line management responsibility for a contract team and indirectly for sub-contractors.
  5. Ensure the delivery of plan commitments for the contract from a financial perspective.

Essential Requirements

  1. Contribute to underperforming areas or where required.
  2. Review and improve operational and financial processes.
  3. Participate in pre-audit reviews, QHSE, or AGM audits.
  4. Support the completion of audit actions (provide guidance to Technical Service Managers for better understanding and requirements to satisfy auditors).
  5. Owning the contract, managing open tasks, compliance, WIP, and billing.
  6. Managing the portfolio (reactive and remedial), WIP, and billing.
  7. Foster driving behaviors.
  8. Clients first - build relationships with clients and support when needed.
  9. Customer Feedback - support complaint resolutions.
  10. Learning from Experience - support QHSE in delivering LFE to all operatives on the contract.
  11. Support Account Manager to ensure that key deliverables, SLAs, KPIs, and client expectations are met/exceeded.
  12. Deputize for Account Manager when absent from the business.

Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
