We are seeking a Community Empowerment Worker to join our team in Barking & Dagenham. In this role, you will be responsible for working with service users, carers, families, and internal/external organisations to deliver outcomes with a strong emphasis on independence, choice, and control.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Liaise with service users, carers, families, and internal/external organisations to deliver outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Direct Payment Support Service, Commissioning Service, and Direct Payment Team to provide information and advice.
  • Support adults with care and support needs to make informed decisions about their direct payments.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
  • Knowledge of The Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Safeguarding Process.

**Salary:** £30,000 - £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
