Senior Cost Manager

Building Careers UK are a well-established main contractor delivering projects across the North West. With a strong pipeline of diverse and exciting schemes, they are looking for an experienced and talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for efficiently managing project costs from inception to completion. This will include overseeing the procurement process, handling various contract forms, identifying opportunities for cost savings and value enhancement, and effectively managing subcontractor relationships.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in main contracting, with a focus on similar schemes exceeding £10 million in value.* Comprehensive understanding of traditional, steel frame, and timber frame construction methods.* Proficiency in handling various contract forms, including JCT D&B, management contracting, and NEC (desirable).* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.* Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
