Job Title: Senior Project Cost Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Cost Manager to join our team in a challenging role, managing project costs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Cost Management: Oversee project costs, including procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting.
  2. Procurement Process: Manage the procurement process, including tendering, negotiation, and contract administration.
  3. Contract Administration: Proficiently handle various contract forms, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
  4. Subcontractor Relationships: Effectively manage subcontractor relationships, including procurement, payment applications, and dispute resolution.
  5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with cost, contracts, and procurement.
  6. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and cost analysis.
Requirements:
  • Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of traditional, steel frame, and timber frame construction methods.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
Benefits:

A competitive remuneration package (£60,000 - £80,000 per annum) is offered, along with performance-based bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Salary Estimate: £72,500 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
