Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Care Support Specialist. As a Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support and care to our service users, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out assessments in our service users' homes to understand their needs and preferences
  • Supporting individuals with social and physical activities, such as hobbies and exercise
  • Booking and accompanying service users to appointments, including medical and social engagements
  • Assisting with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Supporting individuals with eating and drinking, including meal preparation and assistance with feeding

Requirements

  • A caring and empathetic attitude, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good listening and observation skills, with the ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
  • Good writing skills, with the ability to complete documentation accurately and efficiently
