Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out assessments in service users' homes to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Supporting individuals with social and physical activities, such as outings, hobbies, and exercise.
  • Booking and accompanying service users to appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assisting with personal care, including support with showering, dressing, and toileting.
  • Helping with eating and drinking, ensuring service users' nutritional needs are met.
Requirements:
  • A caring attitude and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.
  • The ability to work independently, using your initiative to resolve issues and make decisions.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with service users and their families.
  • The ability to understand and follow policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and effective care environment.
  • Good writing skills to complete documentation, such as care plans and progress reports.
