Job Summary:

Bramwith Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team and lead the development and execution of procurement strategies for our Food & Beverages division. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of strategic sourcing projects and tenders across Food & Beverages / Ingredients to deliver value add, cost savings, and mitigate supply chain risk.

About the Role:

  • Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and execute procurement strategies to drive cost savings, improve supply chain efficiency, and enhance supplier relationships.
  • Supplier Management: Manage existing suppliers across food and beverage related spend, including performance and contract management.
  • New Supplier Sourcing: Select, award, and onboard new suppliers, negotiating commercials to deliver the best value for the company.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders/suppliers to collaborate and deliver cost savings on food & beverage related spend.
  • Commercial Success: Ensure sourcing strategies and tender outcomes are maximizing commercial success and value.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate commodity risk, monitor market trends, and devise strategies with the supply base to reduce issues moving forward.
  • Sustainability: Adhere to sustainable sourcing practices and contract & framework compliance.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and end-to-end direct procurement experience within Food & Beverages / Ingredients - agricultural commodities, ambient, meat, fish, dairy, etc.
  • Strategic Sourcing Experience: Demonstrable experience focused on strategic sourcing or category management.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong commercial acumen & negotiation skills, strong communicator and the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders/suppliers to influence buy-in.
  • Procurement Experience: Procurement experience at a strategic level and demonstrable experience of running tenders.
