Job Description

Procurement Heads is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Category Manager to join their team. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the procurement strategy for IT categories, ensuring that the company achieves its procurement goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and Contract Management: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the company achieves best value for money in IT procurements.
  • Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement category strategies to ensure the company achieves its procurement goals and objectives.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure that the company achieves its procurement goals and objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that procurement strategies are aligned with business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurements.
Requirements:
  • Strong Category Knowledge: Proven experience in IT category management, with a strong understanding of IT procurement strategies and tactics.
  • Good People Engagement and Influencing Skills: Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Good Business Partner: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills: Proven experience in negotiating complex IT procurements.
  • Proven Experience in Procurement: Proven experience in procurement, particularly in IT and SaaS.
