About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Amazon e-commerce professional to join our team. As an Amazon Marketplace Executive, you will be responsible for developing, growing, and maintaining our e-commerce platform on Amazon.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop and implement a content strategy to showcase products in the best possible way for customers.
- Marketplace Growth: Build and execute a plan to drive sales growth within the Amazon marketplace using keywords and marketing campaigns.
- Marketplace Strategy: Create and implement a marketplace strategy, management, forecasts, and results. Key objectives include customer metrics and overall account health and performance.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Manage day-to-day marketplace e-commerce operations, customer service, updates, post listings, promotions, merchandising, maintenance, and performance.
- Marketing Analysis: Drill down into marketing channels and site performance metrics to explain variances to business, which can be used in critical decision-making.
- SEO Optimization: Ensure marketplace copy and metadata are fully optimized to maximize traffic from search engines.
- SEO Efforts: Conduct keyword research, site audits, page and site level optimization, link building, and competitive assessment.
What We're Looking For
- E-commerce Passion: An overall passion for e-commerce and a desire to learn and grow.
- Amazon Experience: Experience in Amazon e-commerce marketplace (other marketplaces are a plus).
- E-commerce Marketing: Experience with e-commerce marketing and digital sales drivers within the Amazon marketplace.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrable understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics, reporting, and content management systems and processes.
- Education: University degree or equivalent work experience.
- Soft Skills: Strong understanding of e-commerce customers, channels, and the ability to manage within their expectations. Proactive, well-organized, and strong attention to detail. Ability to think on your feet with a can-do attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High computer literacy and the ability to learn new software. Proven work ethic.
