About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Consultant to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Consultant in Cardiology, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Cardiology service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive weekend ward rounds, including visits to the Acute Medical Unit to review new referrals.
  • Manage inpatients on the Cardiology Unit and Roskear wards, and be responsible for the clinical management of all patients on the Cardiac Care Unit.
  • Participate in the General Cardiology service on the wards and in out-patients.
Requirements
  • Be on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of their expected date of receipt of a CCT at the time of interview.
  • Have contemporary experience in managing general and acute Cardiology.
  • Be competent in one or more of the following: Cardiac imaging, Arrhythmia management, Electrophysiology, and Devices.
