Cardiac Services Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Services Manager to join our team at Appoint Healthcare in Truro, Cornwall.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of our Cardiology Service, including managing capacity and demand, ordering stock, and invoicing receipting high-cost consumables. They will also be responsible for dealing with consultant queries, supporting the clinical members of the team, and assisting during the full range of cardiac procedures undertaken within the outpatient setting and the angiography suite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Cardiology Service, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service capacity and demand
  • Collaborate with consultants and clinical staff to ensure effective service delivery
  • Assist during cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Deliver an outstanding level of care, meeting the needs of patients and staff
Requirements
  • BSE and/or HRUK/IBHRE certification
  • Valid RCCP/AHCS registration with no restitution or convictions
  • 5 years experience as a Senior Cardiac Physiologist
  • Proven management experience, with a track record of delivering high-quality services
