Cardiac Services Director

About the Role:
The Appoint Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Services Manager to join our team at a leading private hospital in Cornwall. As a Cardiac Services Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of the Cardiology Service, including managing capacity and demand, ordering stock, and invoicing receipting high-cost consumables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Cardiology Service: Oversee the daily operations of the Cardiology Service, ensuring that all procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Capacity and Demand Management: Analyze and manage capacity and demand to ensure that the service is running smoothly and that patients are receiving the best possible care.
- Stock and Consumables Management: Order and manage stock and consumables, ensuring that the service has the necessary resources to operate effectively.
- Consultant Support: Provide support to consultants, including dealing with queries and providing administrative assistance.
- Procedure Support: Assist during the full range of cardiac procedures undertaken within the outpatient setting and the angiography suite.
- Care Delivery: Deliver an outstanding level of care to patients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible treatment.
- Team Management: Manage and motivate the team, ensuring that they are working effectively and efficiently to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: BSE and/or HRUK/IBHRE is a necessity for the role.
- Registration: Valid RCCP/AHCS with no restitution or convictions.
- Experience: 5 years experience as a Senior Cardiac Physiologist.
- Management Experience: Able to demonstrate previous management experience.
