Camp Beaumont Early Years Coordinator

Early Years Level 3

At Camp Beaumont, we're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Coordinator to join our activity team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for children. You'll be part of a team delivering exceptional day camp programs and monitoring the well-being of all our young camp members.

About the Role:

As an Early Years Coordinator, you'll lead playtime group activities for a multi-activity day camp for 3 to 14-year-olds during summer and school holiday weekdays. You'll be responsible for organising engaging games, assisting with various activities, and ensuring the well-being of the children under your care. Activities may include archery, football, tennis, dance, swimming, arts and crafts, and more.

About You:

We're looking for someone with a Level 3 qualification in Childcare (Early Years, QTS/PGCE) or studying towards a relevant childcare qualification. You'll need to be available to work during school holidays and possess a UK/EU citizen with two right-to-work IDs. A passion for working with children, bags of energy, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Desirable:

Previous camp experience and paediatric first aid qualifications are desirable, but not essential. If you have experience as a practitioner or a keen interest in working with children, coaching sports, or facilitating workshops, we'd love to hear from you.

What Happens Next?

Apply with your CV or fill out our application form. Answer our screening questions, and if successful, you'll attend a fun and informative virtual group interview. Job offers and background checks will be completed, followed by a fully paid training day.
