At Camp Beaumont, we're seeking a skilled Early Years Coordinator to play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for children. As part of our activity team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional day camp programs and monitoring the well-being of our young camp members.
About the role:
As an Early Years Coordinator, you'll lead play time group activities for a multi-activity day camp for 3 to 14-year-olds during summer and school holiday weekdays. Your responsibilities will include:
- Organising engaging games and activities
- Assisting with various activities
- Ensuring the well-being of the children under your care
About you:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 17 years old or over
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare (early years, QTS/ PGCE) or studying towards a relevant childcare qualification
- Availability to work during the School Holidays
- UK/EU citizenship with 2 x right to work ID's
- Bags of energy and enthusiasm
- A passion for working with children
- Initiative and the ability to work independently
- Awareness of safeguarding children (Training will be given)
Desirable:
Previous camp experience, Paediatric first aid, or a keen interest in working with children, coaching sports, or facilitating workshops would be an advantage.
