**The Role**

We are seeking talented and compassionate individuals to join our Advisory Committee, concentrating on grant-making in Wales. BBC Children in Need seeks to harness the power of collective expertise to transform the lives of disadvantaged children and young people.

The Advisory Committee serves as a trusted advisor to our Trustees, providing critical guidance on grant allocations in Wales. By combining diverse perspectives and experiences, the Committee ensures grants are awarded efficiently, supporting Welsh organisations working with children and young people.

**Key Accountabilities**

  • Building relationships with children and young people to enhance grant-making effectiveness
  • Partnering with voluntary sector specialists to review grant applications and strengthen organisational capacity
  • Championing equal opportunities and promoting diversity through grants
  • Raising awareness about children's rights and welfare
  • Informing grant decisions using lived experiences and expert insight

**Salary & Benefits**

This role comes with a competitive estimated salary range of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
