Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at Leonardo Helicopters Division. As a leading global company in Aerospace, Defence, and Security, we offer a unique opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of engineering milestones for in-service contracts, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Coordinate technical efforts on UK Military aircraft projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with aircraft regulations and airworthiness standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Provide technical interface with internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Support platform CPE's in airworthiness matters, providing expert guidance and advice.

Requirements:

  • Education in aerospace engineering or equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience in a regulated industry, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and teams.
  • Knowledge of specific aircraft platforms and MAA regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
