Job Title: Lead Systems Engineer - Design Assurance

Salary: Competitive

Key Responsibilities: Ensure that all technical tasks are executed in line with engineering protocols and that suitable levels of internal and independent oversight are maintained. Develop and oversee engineering standards and methodologies to demonstrate Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel (SQEP) and adherence to compliance requirements. Provide mentorship, direction, and support to fellow engineers. Assist in external assessments and reviews. Act as a deputy for the Principal Engineer when required, contributing to personal growth and development. Required Skills and Qualifications: Degree in a relevant STEM discipline (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Science). Experience in the engineering lifecycle. Proven track record of working on intricate programs. Familiarity with pertinent engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulations. Benefits:

About the Team:

This position offers the opportunity to engage in a complex engineering program of significant national relevance, alongside excellent career advancement and development opportunities. The Governance & Assurance team plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of engineering products throughout the engineering lifecycle, promoting a consistent approach through mutual assurance, deployment of plans and processes, and facilitating continuous improvement. This role also provides a pathway to gain accreditation towards Chartered Engineering status. Relocation support packages are available for eligible candidates.
