About the Role

Loughborough University is seeking an exceptional individual to lead our London campus as the Dean. As a member of the University Executive Board, you will be responsible for strategic and operational leadership of the School, driving innovation and excellence in education, research, and business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the University's strategy in London, aligning with the overall institutional goals.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to the School, ensuring academic excellence, research impact, and business engagement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration, driving interdisciplinary research and education initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including industry partners, alumni, and the wider community.
  • Ensure effective management of resources, including budgeting, staffing, and facilities.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leadership and management in a higher education or related sector.
  • Strategic thinking and vision, with the ability to drive change and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a senior leadership team.
