Child Welfare Solicitor

Cardiff Council's Legal Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced solicitor or barrister to join our team as a Children Services lawyer. This role will involve providing expert advice on various aspects of child welfare, including court proceedings and advocacy.
The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of children services law and be able to provide high-quality advice to our clients. They will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on children services law
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for vulnerable children
