CV-Library is seeking an experienced Child Welfare Specialist to join our team in Cardiff. As a leading job board, we understand the importance of providing high-quality services to children and families.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years post-qualifying agency social work experience and be registered with Social Care Wales. They must also possess knowledge of the Social Services and Well-being Act (Wales) 2014.

Job Summary:

  • Work with children whose names are placed on the Child Protection Register
  • Support families under Pre-Proceedings (PLO)
  • Work on Court cases
  • Develop and implement effective plans to improve children's safety and well-being

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work collaboratively with other professionals to provide a comprehensive service to children and families
  • To assess the needs of children and develop appropriate plans to ensure their safety and well-being
  • To work with parents and carers to support them in caring for their children

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years post-qualifying agency social work experience
  • Social Care Wales Registered
  • Knowledge of the Social Services and Well-being Act (Wales) 2014
