About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at West London NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to patients in our High Secure services based at Broadmoor Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing clinical pharmacy services to patients in our High Secure services
  • Attending MDT meetings, clinical governance meetings, and other relevant meetings
  • Supporting our MMT led dispensary
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Registered as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Good knowledge and understanding of therapeutic areas and pharmacological treatments
  • Experience of working with patients in a hospital or community setting
  • Experience of working to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Accuracy in dispensing
  • Demonstrable use of clinical audit to improve practice
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Membership of College of Mental Health Pharmacists
  • Member of the RPSGB
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice
  • Experience of working within a mental health environment
  • Experience of supervising junior pharmacy staff
  • Experience of working with other healthcare professionals
