- Master's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent

- Good knowledge and understanding of therapeutic areas and pharmacological treatments
- Experience of working with patients in a hospital or community setting
- Experience of working to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Accuracy in dispensing
- Demonstrable use of clinical audit to improve practice
- Membership of College of Mental Health Pharmacists
- Member of the RPSGB
- Postgraduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice
- Experience of working within a mental health environment
- Experience of supervising junior pharmacy staff
- Experience of working with other healthcare professionals
