About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Optical Assistant to join our team at Health Care Personnel. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to our store
- Select the correct frames for patients' lenses
- Measure frames to ensure a perfect fit
- Order prescription glasses and contact lenses for patients
- Make follow-up appointments and schedule adjustments
- Conduct pre-screening tests, such as retinal imaging and pressure testing
- Explain offers and products to customers
- Process payments and handle customer transactions
Requirements
- Must have prior experience working in an optician's shop
- Strong understanding of English and maths skills
- Basic IT skills required
- Prior experience in customer service or retail roles advantageous
