About the Role

The NHS is seeking an experienced Child and Young Person Services Advisor to join our team. As an Assistant Education Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a key role in our Mental Health Support Team (MHST), collaborating with schools and education settings to deliver innovative interventions.

You will work with children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs, helping them develop the tools and confidence to thrive. Building strong relationships with schools, families, and partner agencies will be essential, as will maintaining accurate records to support effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver mental health advice and support to children, young people, and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with schools and education settings to develop and implement intervention plans.
  • Maintain accurate records to support effective decision-making.

We are offering a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
