About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team as an Acute Care Specialist. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership to the Virtual Ward Service on a daily shift basis, offering advice to the wider virtual ward team and participating in supervision and support for the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include initiating, managing, and driving change in practice for the benefit of patient care, incorporating physical assessment, diagnostic testing, and formulation of treatment plans to avoid hospital admission. We require someone with a strong background in prescribing and deprescribing medications, with experience in lone working and supervising others desirable.

We offer a competitive salary range £43,141-£70,305 per annum, plus a range of benefits including excellent NHS Pension scheme, generous maternity/paternity/adoption leave, options for flexible working, and extensive Health and Wellbeing support.
