Job Title: Vice President, Operational Risk Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Operational Risk Manager to join our team at Barclays. As a key member of our Operational Risk function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of operational risk across the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Risk Management: Identify and manage interconnected and emerging risks, analyzing operational risk data to identify trends, patterns, and emerging risks.
- Risk-Based Analysis: Assess business processes, controls, and change to ensure compliance with Barclays' Operational Risk Framework, Policies, and Standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to provide risk-based input into projects and strategic decisions, and advise senior management on operational risk matters.
- Risk Mitigation: Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Leadership and Accountability: Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
Requirements:
- Operational Risk Experience: Proven experience in operational risk management, with a strong understanding of Operational Risk and control.
- Industry Knowledge: Retail Banking or Financial Services experience is highly desirable.
