Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Care Operations Manager to join our team at Ad Warrior. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality residential services to children and young adults with complex needs.

About the Job:

  • You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our children's home bungalows, ensuring that care services meet all required standards set by OFSTED.
  • You will act as the Registered Manager and Safeguarding Lead for designated bungalows, ensuring the highest standards of safety, well-being, and care for children and young people.
  • You will lead and manage the operational delivery team, providing clear direction, supervision, and professional development to ensure high performance and excellent care.
  • You will manage and optimise operational systems, resources, and colleagues to maintain compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • You will ensure the effective implementation of care plans and safeguarding protocols, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support the individual needs of children and young people.

Responsibilities:

  1. Direct the daily operations of our children's home bungalows.
  2. Act as the Registered Manager and Safeguarding Lead for designated bungalows.
  3. Mentor and develop the operational delivery team.
  4. Optimise operational systems, resources, and colleagues.
  5. Review the effectiveness of care plans and safeguarding protocols.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing residential services, preferably within children or specialist care settings.
  • A comprehensive understanding of OFSTED and standards for residential care.
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager and/or Safeguarding Lead is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to balance operational demands and regulatory compliance.
  • Applicable qualifications in health and social care (Level 5 or equivalent).
