About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Leader for Children and Young People. As a Band 6/7 Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for working towards a senior mental health practitioner role within our Assessment Centre.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience working with children and young people with mental health difficulties, including risk assessment and developing holistic care plans. Knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures is also essential.

You will work closely with our inpatient colleagues and manage the Single Point of Access for all Inpatient referrals. This involves working with children and young people with various mental health difficulties, including Psychosis, Bipolar Disorder, Emotional dysregulation, Schizophrenia, Depression/anxiety, LD, ASD, ADHD, PTSD, Conduct disorder, and Attachment difficulties.

As part of our team, you will also work closely with external services such as social care, CAMHS, FCAMHS, CMHT, CEDS, EIT, HTT to ensure the correct pathways are in place for our children and young people's discharge from hospital.

We offer a supportive environment where you can develop your skills and knowledge, with regular supervision and training opportunities. Our salary range for this position is £46,148 - £52,809 per annum, pro rata, making it an excellent career development opportunity.
