About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Schools Activity Leader to join our team at Greatersport. As a Schools Activity Leader, you will play a key role in delivering our Schools Coaching Programme, working closely with teaching staff to plan and prepare engaging lessons and learning activities.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality dance lessons and activities, promoting physical activity and creativity among children and young people. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to leadership, health, and wellbeing programmes, as well as early years initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of delivering dance activities within a school environment
  • Experience of delivering out-of-school activities
  • Experience of working with children and young people across the age and ability range
  • Experience of working with teaching staff to plan and prepare lessons and learning activities
  • An IDTA or relevant dance teaching qualification
