Family Support Specialist

The Vale of Glamorgan is seeking a dedicated Family Support Specialist to join its expanded Family Support Teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a strength-based environment, focusing on building resilience and minimizing risks to children by engaging their networks.
About the RoleThis position involves planning and reviewing care for children receiving support, including those on child protection plans. You will help families achieve their goals through consistent, kind, and child-focused support. Additionally, you will support families until court proceedings conclude, providing stability throughout.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective care plans for children receiving support.
- Collaborate with families to identify and achieve their goals.
- Provide ongoing support to families until court proceedings are concluded.
This role offers a competitive salary of £33,369 per annum (pro-rata for part-time positions), including a £5,000 annual enhancement for all qualified roles. You will also have access to hybrid working arrangements, manageable caseloads, and a focus on work-life balance.
