We are looking for experienced Maintenance Supervisors who are interested in working in the recycling and environmental sustainability industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance employees and contractors to ensure site safety at all times and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Assess risks associated with maintenance jobs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain safe and clean workshop and warehouse environments.
  • Complete regular safety conversations with team members.
  • Deliver toolbox talks to direct reports.
  • Achieve a zero-harm workplace attitude and drive health and safety improvements.
  • Liaise regularly with the Maintenance Manager.
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for the Maintenance Manager.
  • Conduct performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Support and develop maintenance team members.
  • Maintenance tasks, including creating and administering weekly plans.
  • Manage warehouses and inventory.
  • Coordinate suppliers and procurement activities.
  • Ensure availability of critical spares and parts.
  • Perform hands-on mechanical maintenance when required.

  • Thorough knowledge of relevant Environmental, Health and Safety legislation.
