About the role

This role ensures that the Directors have the right personal support in organising their departments and fulfilling their obligations in reporting, performance and business planning to Boards and Committees. The Directors are part of AIUK's Senior Management Team.

The Director of Activism & Education is a new role at AIUK focusing on our important work in Community Organising, Activist Events and Human Rights Education and is responsible for Movement Building. They are responsible for the Building a Powerful Movement Sub-committee supported by a team of around 20, currently with 6 line reports.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to provide administrative support to the Director of Activism & Education. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

The role will involve providing a high level of administrative support, including diary management, travel arrangements, and preparing reports and presentations. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Director's department, including supporting the development of policies and procedures.
