Clinical Support Associate

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Support Assistant to work in North Cumbria West Community Treatment Team, providing high quality community mental health care and treatment. The post will involve working as part of a team that delivers exceptional patient care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of care and treatment to service users who have a variety of needs, diverse presentations and a range of mental health conditions under the direction and guidance of a registered practitioner.
This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with the care team to implement and evaluate care within a prescribed framework, ensuring high quality individualised care is delivered and that this promotes recovery and wellbeing and maximises independence.
Main Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of care to service users who have a variety of needs, diverse presentations and a range of mental health conditions, under the direction of a registered practitioner.
- Implement and evaluate care within a prescribed framework as a member of the care team.
- Support in the running of treatment clinics including phlebotomy and physical health checks.
- Maintain electronic health records of any treatment interventions completed.
