Michael Page (UK) is partnering with a leading bar soap brand in the USA to find an experienced sales professional to lead their UK retail sales efforts.

About the Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within FMCG, preferably in beauty and wellness, and proven experience at national account level across grocers and high-street retailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold full responsibility for all UK retail sales
  • Deliver the launch of the brand into new accounts
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders within the FMCG industry
  • Manage P&L, JBPs, forecasting, and reporting
  • Assess market trends and competitor activity
  • Drive new business development initiatives
  • Align sales targets with the company's objectives and strategies
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Work cross-functionally with different departments to execute marketing strategies and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in sales within FMCG (beauty/wellness preferred)
  • Proven experience at national account level across grocers and/or high-street
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent reporting skills
  • A self-starting attitude and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Salary & Benefits

This is an attractive opportunity, with a salary range of £65,000-£90,000 per year, quarterly bonus, generous holiday leave, and benefits package. The role also offers excellent career progression opportunities and remote working.
