Job Title: Financial Manager

The Austin Fraser team is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to manage the entire billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Legal Agency requirements. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing files for bill preparation, handling Legal bills, and maintaining billing-related documents.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process files for bill preparation, handling Legal bills, and maintaining billing-related documents.
  • Handle the processing of Legal Aid bills and ensure timely submission to the Legal Aid Agency.
  • Assist with legal aid payments on account and the payment of invoices.
  • Manage the processing of bills post-assessment and prepare final cost certificates.
  • Liaise with experts and other stakeholders to ensure accurate billing.

Key Skills Required:
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Good business acumen and ability to process information efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs and Costs Master, with knowledge of CCMS and Leap Case Management System an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role:
This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package opportunity within a supportive and dynamic team environment. The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
