About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Specialist to join our team at Long Term Futures Recruitment. As a dedicated member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) across resource bases.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student;">
  • Deliver focused interventions in areas such as phonics and reading to enhance student progress;">
  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring they have equal access to learning opportunities;">
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment;">

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will possess a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree, experience working in a school environment, particularly with children who have SEND, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £92-£102 per day

">

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, term time only (8:30am-3:45pm)

Location: B19, Birmingham
