Job Title: Primary SEN Learning Support Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to work with two children on a 1:1 basis in a supportive educational environment. The ideal candidate will have patience, experience working with children who have SEN, and be able to help them engage in their learning.

The school has a great reputation and offers a supportive and inclusive environment for students to develop their full potential.

About the Role:
  • You will work in Yr1 in the mornings, supporting a child with Autism.
  • In the afternoons, you will be in Yr 2, supporting a little girl with Down Syndrome and Autism.

We are looking for a patient and empathetic individual who is committed to supporting children with SEN. You should have experience working 1:1 with children who have SEN, hold an up-to-date DBS (preferably on the update system), and provide proof of previous work history.

Key Requirements:
  • A Level 2 or higher qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs.
  • An understanding of how to promote positive relationships and engagement with learners.
Salary and Benefits:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
