Support Worker

In this challenging yet rewarding role as a Support Worker - SEN and SEMH, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and families to provide individualised support and encouragement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one and group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Developing and implementing tailored support strategies to help students overcome barriers to learning.
- Collaborating with teachers and special educational staff to create and implement individualised support plans.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, self-confidence, and independence among students.
- Supporting students to manage their mental health needs and providing a safe, supportive space when required.
Key Skills and Qualities:
- A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
- Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting young people.
- Ability to implement tailored support strategies and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in supporting students with SEN/SEMH or in a similar well-being or educational role is highly desirable.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students.
Salary: £84-95 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay).
