Job Title: Application Support Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Analyst to join our team at Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited. As a key member of our technical support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and support Linux server applications and Windows client applications across our global distributed architecture.
  • Utilize Linux command line tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues with complex trading strategies.
  • Perform in-depth log file analysis to diagnose and fix issues.
  • Collaborate with a global team to ensure seamless application performance.
  • Support applications connecting to major global derivatives exchanges.
  • Leverage knowledge of exchange protocols such as OmNet, ITCH/OUCH, and FIX to optimize application performance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Linux-based server applications and command line tools.
  • Strong skills in complex log file analysis.
  • Experience supporting applications that connect to major global derivatives exchanges.
